CCTV systems

All our systems are fully hard wired, this makes the systems very reliable.

With our experience with hard wired intruder alarm systems going back to the early 90s we have learnt the skills to hide almost all cables. This gives our customers a very tidy, functional and easy to use CCTV system.

At the heart of a CCTV system is a recording device, we use a device known as a DVR (digital video recorder).  These units can be installed in a multitude of locations, with many customers having them installed close to their televisions. Most modern TVs can accept images from a DVR via an HDMI port. This means that often the customer can view the images from the comfort of their living room.

Alternatively we can supply a separate dedicated CCTV monitor and the DVR can be installed in an area of the customer’s choice.

All our systems can be put on-line and images viewed on a mobile phone or smart device like a iPad or tablet from anywhere around the world that has a good mobile phone signal or wi-fi connection. We do not charge for this service as it is at present supplied free by the manufacture.

Cameras quality has improved a lot over the past ten years, now a 5mp HD dome camera costs less than its equivalent analogue camera of ten years ago.

Cameras have also greatly reduced in size, gone are the large horrible cameras, now they are very discrete and well designed.
